  • DIGITAL NV MONOCULAR, HELMET-READY: PVS-14 form-factor digital night vision monocular that mounts directly to any standard 3-hole NVG helmet mount. Use it on your helmet, hold it handheld, or bridge two units into a binocular setup.
  • SEES IN STARLIGHT — NO IR NEEDED: 0.0001 Lux minimum sensitivity with AI ISP de-noise algorithm picks up targets on pure moonlight. Flip the IR off and analog nods can't see you — no telltale glow, no signature.
  • 850NM IR ILLUMINATOR, 10M RANGE: When it goes pitch black, the onboard 850nm fill light kicks in for close-range work up to 10m. Invisible to most analog night vision devices — stay concealed.
  • 1080P CMOS, 120FPS, MINIMAL LAG: 1920×1080 CMOS sensor with up to 120fps frame rate and electronic anti-shake. Users report no noticeable delay during night movement — no smear, no ghosting from muzzle flash.
  • 4X DIGITAL ZOOM, 44° FOV: 1×/2×/3×/4× digital zoom with 44°×38°×22° field of view. Wide enough to move naturally, tight enough to identify targets out to 1km.
  • RECORD & STORE: Built-in photo and video recording with up to 128GB storage. Transfer footage via USB OTG (aviation plug to USB converter included).
  • BUILT ALL NIGHT, BUILT TO SURVIVE: IP67 waterproof, 3500mAh removable battery for up to 8 hours, 253g (no battery) light enough that most bump helmets need zero counterweight. Flip-up the mount to auto power off. Operating temp -20°C to +55°C

Airsoft and milsim standard.

I was extremely impressed with HNV86. The image quality is clear, bright, and detailed, even in very low light conditions which can be very difficult for DNVG to accomplish. Target identification is quick, and the field of view makes moving around at night feel natural instead of restrictive.

The unit itself feels solid and well built without being overly cumbersome on the helmet. It is the lightest DNVG I have used and did not even need a counter weight. The controls are easy to operate while wearing gloves, and once everything is adjusted correctly, it stays secure even while running and moving aggressively.

For milsim use, this has been a complete game changer. A DNVG that doesn’t break the bank and also out performs others on the market.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with the performance, durability, and clarity. If you’re looking to upgrade your nighttime setup with our breaking the bank or going analog, this is what you want to get and you wont have the next morning regrets.

Hawkway NVG

This thing is WILD. When compared against Gen 2 and Gen 3 PVS, its very close to the Gen 3. I love that you can also turn the IR illum off and we were NOT able to see the unit from close or far away with analog nods. Great battery life, great recording quality, lots of fun!

They didn't white/black out with muzzle flash, and they automatically adjust QUICKLY to the surrounding environments light. A monotube isn't super heavy, and the mount it comes with is also very stable when I put it on my bump helmet.

I can't wait to earn a bit more money and bridge it with another unit to make binos.

Great digital Night vision device!

The best digital night vision device I have found. No noticeable image delay and I wear this during night movement in wooded country terrain without problem.

Best bang for your money.

The HNV86 is lightweight, compact, and packed with some really impressive features. The image quality is clear, and it performs surprisingly well without needing an IR illuminator, which is a huge advantage when you don’t want to give away your position. The ability to record directly from the unit is another great feature and makes capturing footage incredibly easy. It’s also light enough that it doesn’t add unnecessary weight to your setup, even during extended use. The controls are simple and straightforward, making it easy to get up and running. For the performance, features, and price, I think it’s some of the best night vision you can get for the money.

Great NVG

The only thing I don’t know is how longevity will pan out. I’ve only had this optic for a few days. I will say for the price this thing is pretty cool. I’ve dealt with high quality NV while serving as a rifleman in the Marine Corps in the past and I’m use to using NV with one eye using 14 Delta’s. But..FOR THE PRICE this thing offers a lot…a whole lot. In case a person is unaware if you’d like to see distance with this optic you’ll need and additional IR light source besides the built in one. The built in IR light is more than enough for close Vision and complete visibility inside a total dark building, but for viewing a dark field or seeing distance come up with another IR light source. I use this optic on a helmet with a IR light mounted for tromping through fields without needing a white light to avoid holes and thorn bushes and what not while hog and coyote hunting. So far works great for that. Helps a lot to move quickly without having to walk with rifle raised to see where I’m going.

The digital display is very clear.

I picked up this night vision monocular to try out during a late evening walk around some property and it was surprisingly easy to use right out of the box. The controls were simple to figure out and the image came through clearly once it got fully dark, making it easy to spot movement and objects that would normally be hard to see with the naked eye. I spent a while scanning around the tree line and the unit felt comfortable to hold while staying fairly lightweight, which helped during longer use. The build feels solid and the lens housing seems durable enough for outdoor use. Overall it worked well for nighttime viewing and seems like a handy tool for anyone who enjoys observing wildlife or keeping an eye on things after dark.

A solid NV monocular in a lot of ways

This is the real deal and at none of the prices you'd pay in a sporting goods shop. The quality is top-notch, feels solid in my hands. While I wouldn't call the resolution on this thing as crystal clear, it's very, very serviceable albeit in a slight grainy way that is inherent to the technology itself so no points deducted there. It comes with all of the bells and whistles and also has a recording mode which is nothing short of stellar. And again, for this price? The reader should consider picking up a 2-pack bundle as it comes with an appropriate helmet mount to further stretch their hard-earned dollars. Can't seem to find a fault in it. 5/5, perfect in my eyes, day or night.

Sees through glass.

Able to image through window glass. Something thermal imaging doesn't. Night driving, a passenger can watch for deer crossing the road, increasing safe driving.

Get ya cat eyes on with this nightvision

I’ve had white phosphorus night vision for a few years and wanted a cheaper mono to use out behind my house ordered the HNV86 and im definitely impressed they’re easy to use, crystal clear image, seems robust and durable but well balanced I’d definitely recommend to try it out if you’re in a budget and want to put your foot in the door with night vision

Very a impressive unit

As someone who’s spent countless nights in the woods hunting predators, I’ve tried a number of optics. The HNV86 punches well above its price point. The image is crisp, the Night Vision works great with little to NO light source with visibility beyond a few hundred yards. The IR illumination works well in complete darkness with visibility reaching 75-100yrd
I’ve also used it while helping search for a lost dog in our area, and it made a huge difference when scanning fields, tree lines, and creek bottoms after dark. The compact size and helmet-mount capability are a nice bonus, but I mostly appreciate how easy it is to carry and deploy when every second counts.
If you spend your time hunting, scouting, trapping, or just enjoy being outdoors after darkness , this is a solid piece of gear that won’t disappoint. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to see what’s lurking in the darkness.
